This Cookie Policy explains how BlogUtils uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit https://blogutils.com.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website owners.

What I Use Them For

Two things. Your accept/decline answer is stored in your browser so the banner stops asking. If you accept, Google Analytics is loaded and sets its own cookies, which record which pages are viewed and how visitors move through the site. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded at all and no analytics cookies are set.

There are no authentication cookies, because the site has no accounts, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.

Managing Your Preferences

Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. Google Consent Mode v2 is in place, so analytics stay switched off until you consent. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Declining leaves the site fully functional — nothing on it depends on cookies.

The Plugins

The WordPress plugins set no cookies on your own site and make no external requests. The Table of Contents plugin stores collapse state in your browser's session storage, which never leaves your device and is cleared when you close the tab.
